Faces of Service

Every Veteran has a story. From small towns to big cities, from the mountains to the coast, North Carolinians have served our country with honor. The Faces of Service campaign shines a light on the people behind the uniform — our neighbors, coworkers, classmates, and family members. By sharing their voices, Veterans remind us that service comes in many forms and continues long after leaving the military. Each introduction is an invitation to learn more and provide assistance.

These stories build connection, spark conversation, and encourage all of us — whether in healthcare, schools, workplaces, or communities — to ask the simple question: “Have you or a family member ever served in the military?”

Because when we ask, we learn. When we listen, we honor. And when we connect, we strengthen North Carolina.
